This Privacy Policy explains how BUSSYY owned by Verbion Visions (“BUSSYY”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and safeguards your personal data when you use our mobile app and website (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details: name, email address, phone number and password.
- Profile information: profile photo, description, service roles and rates, and business details.
- Verification (KYC) data: PAN, bank account and IFSC, and optional GST number — processed through our regulated escrow payment partner to enable payouts and comply with law.
- Content: job posts, applications, chat messages, ratings and reviews.
Information collected automatically
- Location: approximate or precise GPS location to match nearby jobs and providers and show them on a map.
- Device & usage: device model, operating system, IP address, push notification token and a device fingerprint for security and notification routing.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and profile.
- To match seekers and providers and power discovery and search.
- To process escrow payments, payouts, refunds, taxes and generate invoices.
- To verify identity (KYC) and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To send transactional push notifications and emails about your jobs and payments.
- To provide support and to improve and secure the Services.
3. How we share information
We share personal data only as needed to run the Services:
- Between users: relevant profile, location range, ratings and job details are shared with the other party to a gig.
- Service providers: escrow & KYC partner (payments, verification, TDS/GST), cloud messaging and chat (Firebase / Google), maps (Google Maps Platform), and email delivery.
- Legal: where required by law, regulation, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. Transaction, tax and invoice records are retained as required by applicable law. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data except where retention is legally required — see our Account Deletion page.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed, tokens are short-lived, and sensitive financial operations are handled by our regulated escrow partner. While no system is perfectly secure, we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
6. Your rights

7. Children
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
